Between the Exhibitions

Entering the "WW11: eye of the storm", exhibition it was mildly confusing. The professor had to elaborate on the painting, drawings and sculptures. I just felt I had a different interpretation on the art. My favorite piece in this exhibition was "The Ark Project" by Deborah Sperry. It was self explanatory because it can be referred back to Noah's Ark. In the Noah's ark the objective was to save what ever he could and it was cool how Sperry try to build a replica of Noahs's Ark. I enjoyed how she provided paper and a maker to write on it and stick it to the ark. In my piece of paper I wanted to save my family including my fraternity. My family is what makes me with out my family I would not be here. Due to my mothers hard effort to push me I am in college. My brother was another huge factor in my life being I did not have a father, I could gladly consider my brother to be my father. He looked out for me and mold me to a great young man I am today. I wanted to include my fraternity because, they are my new family. They look out for me and make sure that I am uplifting the fraternities principles. They broke me down and build me back up as an independent and strong individual. They taught me, lot about my self that I am glad to know. Its ludicrous how far our water travels down.
Another piece of work that grabbed my attention was the, "Underground" painting by Linda Streicher. This painting was very informative.  I demonstrate how water starts on the primary surfaces on the earth and works it way down to the core of the earth my prospective its sad how the water does down into the layers on earth. This painting makes me want to check the PH level of the waters drink because it is nasty, but its the consequence that us a society have to deal with. Due to Global working this is what we need to face.If we continue with this piss poor action then it will effect our kids generation and our kids kids generation. It should be an eye opener for everyone.
Overall, the Exhibition was extremely fascinating I learned a lot about the artist and why they decided to do what they did. Art is a great way to express current events or issues that are going on in the world. Some time individual would need to see a usually in order to get things across there heads. For example a am more of a visual leaner so this was very touching. Looking at these paintings and sculptures help me to think and process factual events. This exhibition felt with the environment and human responsibility. The first example was all about the human responsibility. In life you can no please everyone one so there will be things that will have to get left back. It is all about priorities, a great example will be teenage parents. When becoming a teenage parent, the parent needs to know that there priorities needs to get switched. So if you are a party person then that will no longer occur because you have responsibilities. Usually even children hit the teens they will try to separate from there parents but for teenage parents that will not be the best idea. "As children learn new life rules and lessons during the teen years, parents too need to adapt their parenting techniques" (Positive Parenting Strategies). Lets be real teenage parents are not ready to be parents too there best bet would be to get closer to there parents so they can be guided.
ing more time away from their families, they still need active and aware parents. The  will also learn human responsibly by putting things on the side so take care of bigger and better things. Just like the ark, people would try to save everything but it its nearly impossible (Positive Parenting Strategies). as I mentioned guidance is what teens will need in-order to raise a baby the right way
The painting called,"Underground" was more about the environment. It is try to express to us if we do more stop with the population then one day we will run out of healthy clean water. Global Warming is real and its here. we did a lot of damage to the earth and nearly destroyed the O-zone layer. We should tale initiate and keep the world clean. Global warming occurs when carbon dioxide (CO2) and other air pollutants and greenhouse gases collect in the atmosphere and absorb sunlight and solar radiation that have bounced off the earth’s surface (Positive Parenting Strategies). This is very dangerous because it can hurt the people that live on earth by providing unhealthy air and diseases. Forests, farms, and cities will face troublesome new pests, heat waves, heavy downpours, and increased flooding. Global warming can also decrease or eliminate our natural resourse. So that is a huge factor why we need to be more earth friendly (MacMillan, 2018).
The Exhibition by Joyce Yu-Jean Lee was a interesting gallery. Joyce is not a political artist but "State of Dysunion" was a piece that talked about past event that occurred in life. The gallery had a couple of pieces that really stood out. One of the pieces that stood out was the center piece that was a rotating cylinder piece that was spinning on top. If you looked closely at the art work it was news papers of around the world. At 1st Joyce mentioned that she has a sound track at the projector was play but them she changed it because at first it was a negative vibe and she did not want to present that energy. This piece was inspired because of the comment that Trump said about the Haitian country when he disrespected them. She also abstracted the animation to form and design the video.  Another piece was the "Swan of Tenela" meaning the Land of the Dead. This sculpture was made out of sand. The artist claims it was easy to shape but it was a lot of sand to get into the gallery.
The both exhibitions, do in deed have certain things in common. Both dealt with politics. The politics was different because the first exhibition talked more about the environment and human responsibility unlike Joyce's exhibition she talked about the current issues China was having with opening up to new ideas. At the end of the day everyone has a negative view on life.I learned in China there are, many monopoly that go on. In recent years, China has taken the lead in global-warming pollution, producing about 28 percent of all CO2 emissions(MacMillan, 2018). For  example as Joyce mentioned Chia has on engine search tool. The second exhibition dealt with human responsibly, in other words priority is important and due to global waring our world is heading for there down-all.
